Building Owners
When you first occupy your building you will be issued with an Occupancy Permit which lists the requirements of
Essential Safety Measures for the building, as determined by the Relevant Building Surveyor.
The table of listed Essential Safety Measures indicates the type of Safety Measure to be maintained,
the frequency of inspections and the Regulation for each Essential Safety Measure.
An Annual Essential Safety Measures Report will be issued before each anniversary of the date of the Occupancy
Permit. A site inspection is carried out by Total Essential Services Group to determine the level of compliance
for which the Occupancy Permit states its conditions of maintenance.
An Essential Safety Measures Audit will be conducted on a quarterly basis (from the date of the initial report)
on the contractors to check the frequency of maintenance for the Safety Measures. |
